Highlighter »« Dream
The sun shining on me as I was sleeping, at least I think I was… I open my eyes and see it was not a dream. I am in a place that a ton of people wish they could be, the islands of Phuket on a 2 storey yacht with a crew that will get you and thing you need any where you want. That is not even the best part… its all for free.
When you first read that paragraph you would probably think, oh that is not that interesting, but what if I said the yacht was not ours and we did not have to pay the crew. More interesting huh. And this is how it all started.
With one small breath and one small word hello, my dad said when he answered his phone.
We were on our way to Phuket for the break. Before we boarded the flight to Phuket my dad answered his phone with a simple word hello. And before we new it we were trying to make time go by as quickly as possible because tomorrow we will go into a place that is just like a dream.

After I saw this I was amazed about how much I had learned and it was not even the end of this unit.
Dream »« Midnight
“Bye” I say as enter the cool hard gate. Glancing up I see all of the lights on, I was sure Miranda was home. It was 11:45 I ran from the gate in to my house, now inside I go up to the second floor she was not there. I had thoughts running though my head, I saw Miranda scared all alone with no one with her trying to fall asleep but to scared, waiting for me to come.
I dash up stairs checking all of the rooms but one, I walk over each step slower, and I enter the room with a pleasant voice and say proud “Miranda, you are not home alone any more” I see no movement, just me. But mistaken I was the one alone, now I was waiting for her to come and save me. It was now 11:55 ticks away from midnight. Trembling, clueless. I crawl in to a ball trying to wake up from this nightmare. Alone, nothing, trying to get more information. Scared.
I’ll call, but now just waiting till midnight…
My eyes open just like the moon. Staring at the clock full with white watching it go around, second by second. The other hand moves 12:01 am, Saturday. I get a happy feeling not because it was far away from midnight but a creak everyone was home.

Hi I’m Hollie. I love animals, art, peace, music, cheese, and anything to do with nature. I’ve been a vegetarian for more than 6 years.
I own 2 family dogs, a chihuahua, and a wheaten terrier mix. I have 3 sisters and no brothers. I’m the middle sister, my two older sisters are in 6th grade and collage, my younger sister is in 3rd grade, and I’m in 5th grade.
My favorite colors are brown and dark purple.
